Have you ever wondered how a vehicle gets repaired after a road traffic accident or car crash? If you’d like to be the technician who fixes cars and gets them back on the road, then this Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair is a fantastic place to start.
You’ll be developing the key knowledge and skills required by vehicle accident repair employers across a range of units on this practical and engaging course. You’ll learn how to specialise in multiple repair areas, including MET (Mechanical Electrical Trim), paintwork, and body repairs.
You’ll also benefit from the opportunity to experience a real working environment, as part of the course requires you to engage directly with employers. As this diploma is a vocationally related qualification (VRQ), it’s completely relevant to the automotive industry and is awarded by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, but you should have a keen interest in the field of vehicle accident repairs.
How will I be assessed?
Throughout the duration of this course, you’ll complete online assessments at the end of each group of units, to check you’ve learnt the appropriate skills. You’ll also be building up a portfolio of evidence from practical tasks, and will complete a final assessment on both your skills and knowledge towards the end of the course.
Continuing Your Journey
You’ll have a wide range of options open to you after completing this Level 2 Diploma.
