Have you ever wondered how a vehicle gets repaired after a road traffic accident or car crash? If you'd like to be the technician who fixes cars and gets them back on the road, then this Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair is a fantastic place to start.
You'll be developing the key knowledge and skills required by vehicle accident repair employers across a range of units on this practical and engaging course. You'll learn how to specialise in multiple repair areas, including MET (Mechanical Electrical Trim), paintwork, and body repairs.
You'll also benefit from the opportunity to experience a real working environment, as part of the course requires you to engage directly with employers. As this diploma is a vocationally related qualification (VRQ), it's completely relevant to the automotive industry and is awarded by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
Throughout the duration of this course, you'll complete online assessments at the end of each group of units, to check you've learnt the appropriate skills. You'll also be building up a portfolio of evidence from practical tasks, and will complete a final assessment on both your skills and knowledge towards the end of the course.
You'll have a wide range of options open to you after completing this Level 2 Diploma. You could progress onto further training and education in a range of automotive and engineering subjects, or continue your focus on this area with the Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair here at The Manchester College.
With the skills and knowledge you've learnt, you'll also be well equipped to progress into work and pursue a number of career opportunities in the accident repair sector and wider automotive industry.
