Are you considering a career in the construction Industry? If you'd like to develop the essential skills required for the construction industry and achieve a qualification, then this is the course for you.
This course is for learners interested in working in the construction industry, but are not yet ready to specialise in one trade. You will have the opportunity to develop the practical skills needed for a range of trades before choosing your progression pathway.
You will develop a range of technical and employability skills for Plastering. You will also complete a mandatory unit on health and safety in construction and learn about the working in the construction industry.
As part of the course, you'll be able to develop your functional skills in English and maths alongside your construction skills. This will help fully prepare you for a successful career in the construction sector.
Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

This qualification through a series of paper based tests and practical tasks.

Upon successful completion of this qualification students will possess a variety of skills to enable them to build, repair and maintain the country's housing stock.
Students can use this qualification to progress onto a Level 1 or level 2 plastering qualification, or an apprenticeship, and work towards becoming skilled in their chosen trade.
