Our Level 1 Preparing to Work in Schools qualification is designed to provide you with further learning and training whilst you develop an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting.
The qualification - which you can start in September, January or April - covers a range of topics including how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child and young person development.
There are no formal qualifications required for this qualification.
You'll be internally assessed using a range of methods, which could include written assignments or tasks such as designing a leaflet or booklet, charts or diagrams, or setting up an information board.
Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners you'll be able to progress onto our Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification.
