Benefits to Students
Every year we place 1000s of 16-19 year old students on work placements and help them to encounter and explore the world of work in a range of ways.
We are proud of the work that we do and there are clear benefits to student engagement in work experience activities:
Career exploration
– through work placement and employer encounters, a student can experience and explore an industry, career route and job first hand, supporting their career planning and decisions.
Technical skills
– meeting and working alongside industry professionals is another way for a student to develop their skills and knowledge in their chosen career route.

– developing transferable skills such as communication, team work and initiative, as well as confidence in the work place is a crucial step for students being ready for industry.
