Major bus routes include 14, 16, 41, 42, 43, 43a, 44, 45a, 47, 48, 50, 87, 111, 140, 142, 143, 147, 157, 197, 250, 291 Metrolink St Peter’s Square station is at the top of Oxford Street, around 15-20 minutes’ walk from the campus. Train Oxford Road Station is around 10-15 minutes’ walk from the campus. Parking There are local car parks used by visitors to the hospitals but we would advise using public transport where possible.

The Manchester College reach the Final of the 2017/18 ECFA Men’s Premier Cup

The 30 strong group of spectators in attendance didn’t have to wait long for the first goal as The Manchester College struck the opening blow on the 10 minute mark. Our team extended their lead to 3 – 0 after two great passages of play, which were reflective of the quality of football displayed by both colleges.

The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester to host Sparkle Weekend 2021

This year, the event, the largest of its kind in the world, will take place online on Saturday 10 th July and be hosted from the Waterside Theatre at our Shena Simon campus. Musical Theatre , Performing Arts and Dance students from The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester’s Arden School of Theatre will be pre-recording special performances to be broadcast during the event.

Students have a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts at the cutting edge of construction technology on a weekly basis, amassing over 90 days of Industry Placement experience over the two years of the programme.

New investments to provide Mancunians with greater access to technical education and skills

Construction and Engineering at Openshaw In addition to the developments at Harpurhey, the College is also investing in new facilities at its Openshaw Campus. This includes a brand-new 630m² Engineering Workshop featuring 10 welding bays, a mechanical inspection and testing area and specialist classrooms, including a specialist electronics lab and design suite giving students access to industry standard software and equipment.
