This online, self-paced course introduces the methodologies and tools of modern software development, applied to the IT and Network operations.
Built up of eight modules, it covers a 360° view of the domain including microservices, testing, containers, and DevOps, as well as securely automating infrastructures with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
All learners will have access to a personal subject specialist tutor throughout the programme and will be able to access a wealth of resources, quizzes, and practise labs.
This course is ideal for IT professionals who wants to pursue a career in DevOps and automation, or students enrolled in technology related degree programmes.
Learners will automatically be enrolled in our Cisco Academy ASC Alumni with access to employers, free courses and many other benefits.

Recommended Preparation: Introduction to Cybersecurity (free with UCEN Manchester), Cybersecurity Essentials or understanding of network or cybersecurity concepts

This will be an online assessment.
Score 70% or higher in the final exam and receive a 53% discount from Cisco towards the 200-901 DEVSC exam that can be taken at any VUE/Pearson exam centre.

This programme provides you with the chance to develop an in-demand, varied skill set. Completion of this course will allow you to launch a career in software development, DevOps, cloud, and related job families.

Please note that this is a short online course which is self-funded and needs to be paid in full on the enrolment date after you have applied for the course.
Unfortunately there are no exceptions for applicants who are Asylum Seekers or those on benefits although we do accept sponsorship from employers.
