T Level Foundation - Business Management, Finance and Accounting - IEA

This T Level Transition Programme is co-developed and co-delivered with a range of employers and it is the perfect stepping stone if you want to progress on to a T Level.

In order to develop the professional skills and experience needed, you will learn how businesses are structured whilst gaining valuable industry skills by studying the key areas that employers are currently looking for and undertaking an industry placement.

Throughout this course, you will explore:
• Organisational structures
• Event management
• Project management
• Leadership skills
• Finance
• And much more.

You will also get the opportunity to work on projects with large, well-respected Manchester businesses. A minimum 15-day industry placement is a vital part of this course and you will be supported in finding a placement relevant to your study.

Those successful in gaining a place on the Transition Programmes will be eligible for the ‘T Award', a package of benefits that includes:

Min 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above including maths and English. Preferable grade 5 in maths and 5 English

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

This course is assessed using a variety of methods throughout the year including:
• Presentations
• Role plays
• Project-driven practical assignments
• Written reports
• 2 x external exams

Upon successful completion of this qualification, you will be able to progress on to a Business and Administration T Level.
