T Level - Business Management and Administration - Industry Excellence Academy

If you have a brain for business and love getting stuck into the details of planning and management, then our Business Management and Administration T Level could be perfect for you.
Equal to three A Levels, this course has been designed with our industry partners so you'll be prepared to work in the Management and Administration sector.
As one of our Industry Excellence Academy programmes, you'll be working with leading specialists and learning all you need for a career that can cover people and process management, business support services, financial processing and business marketing analysis skills.
You'll cover topics including:
• Business Context
• People and projects
• Quality Compliance
• Change Management
You'll enjoy scrutinising large organisational structures and their event management processes while learning how to project manage more effectively. We'll help you to develop your leadership skills, financial management awareness and planning strategies needed for modern day business.
As part of the course, you'll complete a work placement of a minimum of 315 hours.

You'll get the chance to work with large businesses in Manchester on special projects, allowing you to gain, depending on the size of the employer project.

Min 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above including maths and English. Preferable grade 5 in maths

Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.

You'll complete a set of written exams and an employer set project. You'll also have to complete an externally set assignment that covers the specialist area of Business Support. In addition, you'll take part in live briefs set by a range of employers in Greater Manchester throughout your studies.

You can progress onto a Foundation Degree in Business Management with our higher education partner UCEN Manchester and follow this up with an optional top-up year to earn a BA (Hons) degree.
