Our Level 3 Travel & Tourism programme is designed for learners who are passionate about the travel, tourism industry and want to progress to university, an apprenticeship or employment.

In Year 1, learners complete the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Travel & Tourism, developing essential knowledge and skills across the industry.

Learners who successfully complete Year 1 can progress into Year 2 to complete the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Travel & Tourism, building on their knowledge through more advanced and practical study.

Throughout the programme, learners will explore tourism destinations, customer service, the UK and global travel industry, tour operations and employability. Learning is supported by industry-related activities, trips, guest speakers and opportunities to develop real-world skills.

Year 1: NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Travel & Tourism
Year 2: NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Travel & Tourism

This programme is ideal for learners looking to progress into careers with airlines, airports, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, visitor attractions and the wider tourism industry, or to continue into higher education or a higher-level apprenticeship.

5 GCSEs grade 4 to 9 which should include English and maths.

You will be assessed through a variety of written and practical assessments including observation of practical performance.

Learners would be able to progress to Higher Education or employment within the industry.

Learners will be qualified to gain employment in roles such as Passenger Services, Ground Operations, Cabin Crew and more.
