Swedish Massage

This Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage will prepare you to enter the beauty therapy sector as a beauty therapist specifically within Swedish massage and all units in this qualification relate directly to the specific job role.

In this qualification you will providing body massage, health and safety, anatomy and physiology and client care, and will also develop your knowledge and understanding of health and safety, and client care.

You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide relaxing massage treatments using classical Swedish massage movements. You'll also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

Applicants will require level 1 English and Maths and a keen interest in beauty therapy, massage or Swedish massage.

You will be assessed by multiple choice exam for Body Massage and Anatomy and Physiology

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to progress onto Level 3 Sports Massage or Level 3 Beauty Therapy. You can choose to progress on to degree-level study with our higher education partner, UCEN Manchester. Students progressing from The Manchester College will receive a cash award through the Achievers Scholarship.
