The T Level in Health (Supporting Therapy Teams pathway) is a two-year Level 3 qualification designed for students who want to pursue a career in healthcare, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, or other allied health professions. The course combines classroom learning with substantial industry experience, allowing students to develop both the knowledge and practical skills needed for employment, apprenticeships, or higher education.
Students will complete a minimum 315-hour industry placement, providing valuable real-world experience within healthcare settings alongside healthcare and therapy professionals
Learners are required to have achieved 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher including English, maths and science.
Work Experience is a vital part of the course and you will be supported in finding a work placement relevant to your study.
You'll be assessed through a combination of external examinations, practical and written assessments, an employer-set project, and industry placement experience.
Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will have developed the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to progress into employment, apprenticeships or higher education within the health sector.
