Our Success at Greater Manchester Skills Competition

This year, students’ advanced skills led to the College winning an array of competitions including:   Harry Edward-Shorter and Beatrix Higginson won the Level 3 Musical Theatre competition with the College winning the Performing Arts Competition overall Nick Nowicki won Level 2 Electrical Installation Ruby Harding, Kayleigh Gaynor, Sarah Marriott and Veronica Uzoma won their competition seeing the College win First Overall in Early Years Najoua Khaldoun won Level 1 Nails Indira Cardoso Victor, Sophie Mather, Tate Hennessey and Kamile Ovsinskaite won Fashion and Textiles with the College being the overall winner of the Art Competition Maira Tahir, Joudy Sabsabi, Fred Wingrave and Anastasia Iacopini won Art and Design Daniel Dyer, Dayton Walsh, Henry Western, Jordan Wright, Jack Shingleton, Siya Sabu, Abdullah Nagjar and Zack Nisar won Foundation Learning Skills 'Best Teamwork Skills' . Several College students also celebrated coming second and third place in the competitions, including: Amelia Ashworth placed second in Level 2 Acting Fifi and Sunrays placed second in Level 3 Music HarmalPreet Singh placed third in Level 1 Electrical Installation Jamal Mehmood, Ava Baxendale, Hoyang Ho and Dan Delaney placed third in Level 3 Travel Mei Chaing placed third in Level 1 Hair Ranan Queen placed second in Level 3 Make-up Zeriah Otutu placed second in Level 2 Barbering Ana Mendes placed third in Level 2 Beauty Leah Graham placed second in Level 2 Nails James Neiland placed third in Level 3 Professional Cookery .
