Actor Sally Carman appointed as first Performing Arts patron

Sally, who is also known for her role as Kelly Maguire in popular TV series ‘Shameless’, visited Shena Simon campus on Friday 20 September, 2019, and met with Musical Theatre and Acting students. During a Q&A with them, Sally credited her coal mining father for her success, explaining how he had worked overtime to enable her to attend drama school.

College students make a statement with ‘This City is Ours’ project

In total, 200 of College’s students responded to the live brief and 26 were chosen to work with Jack Arts and Manchester-based designer, Craig Oldham during the project’s final stages. The final collection has been launched at Manchester Art Gallery and will be available for to the public until 15 March.

T Levels: Your progression options

Higher Education T Levels are equivalent to 3 A Levels when fully completed and so will generate UCAS tariff points. This table demonstrates how T Level grading compares to A Levels and how the UCAS tariff points match up.
