Creative students gain exposure in London exhibition.

The song resonates personally with John and he says: “Celebrities have had a big impact on us and society and I wanted to put this across in my work.” John was inspired by the Pop Art styles of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichenstein and this became the basis of his art style. He wanted to include multiple images of Ariana in the comic strip, which were not too photo realistic but still identifiable.

Qualifications

Award An Access to HE Diploma is a good way to prepare yourself for university-level study if you’re over 19 and have been out of education. They’re at an equivalent level to A levels. Bachelor of Arts A Bachelor of Arts (BA) qualification is a university-level degree in arts, humanities and social sciences subjects, equivalent to a Level 6 qualification.

The Manchester College Exams and Assessments Update

Each student's grade will be calculated from a range of evidence for example, performance over the course of study, classwork, non-exam assessment, mock results and resit marks.  The centre assessment grade will be submitted and take into account the grade the individual would have most likely achieved had their exams gone ahead.

College students progress to second round of the WorldSkills UK Nail Technician competition

Students Unita George, Ria Bacon, Rachelle Kelly and Danae Brown have sailed through the first stage after impressing judges their beautiful nail art designs. They sent images of one hand with a completed set of nails and five separate nail tips with a commercial nail art design, with the judges looking for structure, shape and a smooth finish.
