Overview
Designed for anyone who isn’t currently a practising assessor but would like to know more about assessment, this knowledge-only Level 3 Award will give you a solid understanding of all the principles and practices of assessment.
It’s ideal for those who would like to pursue a career in this area and become an assessor, and for course managers who want to find out more about the assessment processes.
You’ll be able to continue working within your own organisation and study for this qualification on your own time, with regular coaching sessions with your assessor at days and times that suit you. You’ll also have full access to an electronic portfolio and library of learning support material for you to use whenever required. -
Entry requirements
You won’t need any previous assessor experience for this knowledge-based award, but you will need to have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. We’ll also ask you to complete an eligibility checklist and to attend an interview to ensure you’re suitable for the course.
-
How will I be assessed?
For the single, main unit on this course, you’ll be assessed using questions in the form of a workbook and by taking part in a professional discussion with your assessor.
-
Continuing Your Journey
