The Manchester College supports Association of College’s ‘Mind the Skills Gap’ campaign

Our Successful Partnership with St Francis RC Primary School

The mascot was paid for with money raised by a cohort of last year’s Level 2 students as part of their events module. The partnership with St Francis RC Primary School has already led to meaningful changes to the syllabus that Level 2 Activity Leadership students follow, thanks to expert guidance from staff at the local school on how best to coach KS1 and KS2 pupils.

Adult Skills Fund This is a government-funded programme that provides financial support for learners aged 19–23 who may be eligible for funding to study a full Level 2 or Level 3 qualification for free if they don’t already have one. In addition, learners may be eligible for digital functional skills or essential digital skills up to Level 1 if their existing skills are below that level.

Shafia Helps Manchester Museum South Asian Heritage Month
