Students Create Campaign and Pitch it to BBC Professionals

The groups then operated as mini creative agencies to develop their campaign, taking on all the professional roles needed to bring their campaign to life. On the fifth and final day, the teams pitched their ideas to BBC Creative professionals at the BBC offices at Quay House, providing them with valuable work experience.

Visual Arts students host Whitworth Gallery workshops - A group of twenty students from The Manchester College’s Centre of Excellence for Visual Arts have spent weeks getting to know the ins and outs of Whitworth Art Gallery as part of an exciting work experience project. The students, who are all studying our Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication, have got to know all parts of the gallery and how they work.

UnTaPped: A Must See Student-Organised Theatrical Festival

The festival showcased the students creative talents, ranging from contemporary dance, devised theatre and comedy to live art, intermedial performance, bouffon clowning and even mind-reading – all performed through ensemble and solo work! Over the course of the two days, audiences enjoyed devised performances by first, second and third year TaP and third year DaP students from our impressive performing arts department, while basking in the feel-good Manchester sunshine.
