Schools go sky high for airport careers event - Pupils from secondary schools across Manchester were ready for take-off after attending a ‘Hidden Jobs at the Airport’ experience day at Wythenshawe campus. The Manchester College’s Schools Liaison Team and the Manchester United Foundation hosted the event which saw businesses working in and around Manchester Airport give students a taste of the wide variety of career opportunities available.

180 Seat Theatre named in Honour of Wyllie Longmore at City Campus Manchester

My Africa! and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom earned him Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. He was also a familiar face on screen, appearing in Coronation Street and Love Actually. Beyond his performances, Wyllie’s dedication to theatre saw him serve on the boards of the Royal Exchange Theatre, Contact Theatre, and HOME arts centre in Manchester.
