She said: “I’d been interviewed on Legacy Radio and Afrikaans Radio earlier in the week, so we had a large group of people turn up, including Britain’s Got Talent finalists B Positive Choir and a team from NHS Blood Donation and Transplant.

Keep Calm and Do Your Best This Exam Season

Find a quiet space – sit in a quiet room where you can concentrate Re-write your notes – use coloured paper or pens to categorise your notes and create memory maps or summarise topics Test yourself – try out past papers and get friends or family to ask you questions Go for a walk – fresh air and exercise can help to reduce stress and give you time away from your studies to rest your mind or organise your thoughts Reward yourself – have a treat when you reach the end of a chapter – a piece of fruit, a biscuit or your favourite chocolate bar Drink plenty of water – you de-hydrate when you’re concentrating, so make sure you drink plenty of water to keep your brain in tip top condition! Get a good night’s sleep – switch off the night before an exam and get a good night’s sleep, it’ll help you concentrate better during the exam.  Keep calm and do your best!
