Writing in a letter to Lucas, Andy Burnham, praised his animation skills, professionalism and creativity, commenting: “The GMCA colleagues that you met and worked with have been very impressed with your skills from storyboard designs to the final product. You followed a brief and used your creativity to bring a high level concept to life, making it visually appealing and easier for the audience to understand.” Lucas has autism and is mostly nonverbal, so stepping outside his comfort zone to take on the project was a huge achievement.
