The Manchester College supports Association of College’s ‘Mind the Skills Gap’ campaign

The campaign has outlined three priorities to tackle the 1 million vacancies currently held by UK employers: a right to lifelong learning; fair, accessible and effective funding; and a national strategy to support local, inclusive growth. The campaign’s call for increased funding for the further education sector comes ahead of the Chancellor’s Spring Budget and as college finances remain below what they were in 2010 in real terms according to figures from the Institute for Fiscal Studies.

Centre of Excellence for Medical Sciences Centre of Excellence for Medical Sciences The Manchester College's Centre of Excellence for Medical Sciences, at the Citylabs laboratory complex in the heart of Manchester’s Knowledge Quarter, is home to our School of Medicine, Health Sciences and Medical Engineering. Their brief was to create an advertising, marketing and media campaign to show how Co-op and Cadbury can come together to inspire generosity and co-operation to showcase a little more goodness in local communities, focusing on fairer access to food and reducing food waste.
