To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria: Be a full-time undergraduate student or Initial Teacher Training (ITT) student Be eligible for Student Finance (tuition fee loan and maintenance support) Be responsible for a child under 15 (or under 17 if they have special educational needs) Use a registered or approved childcare provider Not be receiving help for childcare costs from: NHS bursary scheme (which has its own childcare allowance) Tax-Free Childcare Universal Credit childcare element Working Tax Credit childcare element Can part-time students get childcare funding? Part-time students aren’t eligible for the Childcare Grant.

Postcard project portrays life in lockdown

Students said the project helped them to work through the many issues they were experiencing and that the act of researching, designing and creating a visual response to these issues helped them to come to terms with how they were feeling. First year student Jeshul Solanki said: “The postcards helped me to express how I was feeling during the whole pandemic. They allowed me to say what I wanted to say without using words, and it was a real relief to be able to communicate visually as well as furthering my abilities to use different mediums.”
