Student Learning Strategies will be developed for you and shared with all those that work with you to ensure that you are fully supported on your course. We offer a range of support depending on your needs, this could be in the form of a SEND Support Practitioner who comes into your lessons with you to help support your needs.

The Manchester College scoops double award win

The College claimed the award after judges were impressed by the results of its commitment to ‘careers not courses’ and the links that the College has built with employer partners. January 2021 Exam update

Unfortunately, the College had no advanced warning of yesterday evening’s announcement and has been working to quickly understand what actions we need to take to ensure that as an organisation we comply with the government’s latest guidance whilst ensuring the health and safety of our colleagues and students remains our number one priority. As such, during the course of this morning we have been undertaking an assessment of whether we can safely conduct your scheduled examination. Having undertaken this process the College has regretfully reached the decision that we will have to cancel examinations due to take place in January 2021.

Thanks for making Couch to College a success!

Over the last three weeks, we’ve hosted 37 online sessions to help new students transition from school to college by meeting their Tutors, tour college campuses and explore the wide range of courses and qualifications available to them. Our first week of events, kicked off by Principal Lisa O’Loughlin on Monday 6 July, introduced students to our brand new Industry Excellence Academy and Centres of Excellence , as well as our College’s Careers and Welfare, and Transition teams.
