The students said this was an “eye opening” experience as they witnessed first-hand the dangers and consequences of reckless driving. The visit resulted in a hands-on demonstration as the team prompted two students to be cut out of a car using real industry tools in a role playing exercise.

Our Successful Partnership with St Francis RC Primary School - Students studying the Level 2 Activity Leadership course  at The Manchester College’s Openshaw Campus recently planned and delivered their first PE session of the new academic year to key stage one (KS1) and two (KS2) pupils at St Francis RC Primary School . Pupils from the primary school, which is only a hop, skip and jump away from the College’s Openshaw Campus, recently visited the state-of-the-art sports facilities and took part in a class that the aspiring activity leaders had prepared.

Game Developers Go Full Circle Releasing Their First Title

After being contacted by Gaming tutor Ben Elson, Elliott and Luke visited the College in February to work with Level 3 students, giving them real workflows for the game’s development. Some of the students’ work is featured in the trailer and will feature in the game when it’s fully released.
