Degree Courses

You can get up to £9,535 if the subject is partly practical, including science, engineering, subjects allied to medicine or the creative and performing arts. The loan is available for courses that start on or after 31 August 2025. Maintenance Loan You can apply for a Maintenance Loan to help pay for your living costs such as books and rent.

What Are T Levels?

Students receive an overall grade, ranging from a Pass to a Distinction*.   This grade reflects their performance in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course. A Distinction* is the highest grade you can get and is equivalent to three A*s at A-level in terms of UCAS points.

Parent College Information

It runs in parallel to the Disciplinary procedure. Based on a student’s attendance performance, a Attendance Management (AM) escalation and de-escalation process will be activated AM1, AM2, AM3 and a Contract will be agreed with the student.

What We Do

In 2021 we introduced pre-applicant personalised individual tours which will give school leavers the opportunity to experience a further education learning environment either during or after school hours. Pre-applicants will be able to explore our state-of-the-art campus facilities here at The Manchester College including our brand new City Campus Manchester and experience what the College has to offer before submitting their application.

Programme of Study

It is externally accredited by an awarding organisation such as City & Guilds, University of the Art London or BTEC Pearson. You will follow a national syllabus for this qualification. The assessment method will vary according to the type, size and level of qualification.
