Zara Prior, Barbering tutor “I’m seeing a lot of barbers who have been in the business for 20 years coming back for their qualification, and that is because of a change in the law which requires them to have a certificate to get insurance. They already have the barbering skills, but they get to learn about other aspects of the job such as health and safety legislation, and customer advice and consultation.

Acting students Audition with Coronation Street Star

Brandon said, “Sally told me that had I been auditioning for a role then she would hire me, I just need to get my head down and focus more and so I’m going to really work on learning my lines in future.” The students also participated in an hour-long Q+A opportunity where they asked Sally for advice when approaching future employers, how to produce good quality audition tapes and also managing career expectations.
