We’ve also got a new baking kitchen for our Bakery, Confectionary and Patisserie courses and all our facilities at Harpurhey are equipped with all the latest kitchen equipment.  The comfortable, environmentally-friendly site is made up of a bright modern building and the restored Harpurhey Baths, a Grade II listed building which the College has transformed into an award-winning exhibition space for students and the community.

From The Manchester College to Abu Dhabi – countdown to WorldSkills 2017 begins

The competition takes place from 14 to 19 October in the UAE. In March, all those on the training programme will come together at four venues:  The Manchester College, Stockport College, Trafford College and Training 2000 to compete for the once in a lifetime opportunity to represent the UK in their skill at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.

Anthony Crolla and our students offer their support for The Christie

Brazil came out victorious after an afternoon of competitive football played in a fun and relaxed environment, with great sportsmanship shown by all participating. Other students from across our College also got involved in the fundraising. Our Hair and Beauty students offered a range of treatments while the tournament was taking place, and our Business students organised a separate event at our Nicholls campus, with monies going to the same cause.
