The Manchester College supports Association of College’s ‘Mind the Skills Gap’ campaign

The Manchester College students benefit from flourishing partnership with St Francis RC Primary School

The mascot was paid for with money raised by a cohort of last year’s Level 2 students as part of their events module. The partnership with St Francis RC Primary School has already led to meaningful changes to the syllabus that Level 2 Activity Leadership students follow, thanks to expert guidance from staff at the local school on how best to coach KS1 and KS2 pupils.

To degree, or not to degree? That is the question

Apprenticeships can last from anywhere between 1 and 6 years. The length will depend on the level of apprenticeship, as well as the employer. For example, some level 3 apprenticeships can last 18-24 months, whereas a level 6 (degree) Solicitor apprenticeship will last 5 to 6 years.
