The Manchester College lights up Manchester Town Hall

The Manchester College lights up Manchester Town Hall - Manchester Town Hall was lit up by a unique light show as The Manchester College celebrated the launch of our new organisation and asked the city to ‘be amazing’.  The elegant Grade I listed building turned heads last night as a 4.5m/15ft ‘gobo’ (light stencil) appeared over its front entrance. The ‘gobo’ featured the college’s new iconic chevron and strapline, ‘be amazing’.

Students exhibit contemporary art in unused retail space

The year 1 and 2 Visual Arts students have taken over a disused retail space in the South Manchester village to exhibit a broad spectrum of art, including painting, sculpture, textiles, photography and printmaking.  Course Tutor, Rachael Addis says; “I am particularly proud of all the students who have developed their creative abilities and are consequently contributing to the local community.”
